Now you and your copilot can have the ability to listen to your XM radio from your 496 on your aviation headsets through the line-in jack without the mess of cables. In addition, your 496 transmits several messages and terrain warnings that you will now be able to hear in your headset. Your aviation headsets must be equipped with an audio line-in jack (most new headsets are equipped). Just insert the Y splitter into the back of your 496 and route the cables (per included installation instructions) to each armrest. Plug the 3.5mm connector into the audio line-in on your aviation headset and you’re enjoying your favorite music in-flight. Purchase a second kit and let your passengers enjoy the music too.

FEATURES:

Note: In order for you to listen to the GPS audio in your headset your headset must have an audio line in jack. Most noise cancelling headsets on the market have a battery box with this “audio line-in” jack. If yours does not, Aircraft Spruce sells a wonderful adapter that is small enough to fit into and remain in the Eclipse armrest. This little gadget will give any aviation headset the ability to have an audio line-in function. You can find this product at http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/avpages/headsetAdapter.php
