Tom Norton is the owner and president of Innovative Aviation Solutions bringing with him over 27 years in aviation. Tom began as an aeronautical engineer from Purdue University working at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft where he designed and tested turbojet and turbofan engines for the F-16 and F-15 military fighter aircraft. Tom’s passion for flying overshadowed his engineering career and he served ten years flying and instructing in the A-10 “Warthog” followed by seven years flying and instructing in the big jets for Delta Air Lines. The engineer in Tom never died and in 2005 he finished building his own aircraft with many innovative “extras” to the design. In May of 2006, Tom joined Eclipse Aviation as the Director of Training and built the program literally from scratch in a matter of months prior to aircraft certification in September 2006. Today, Tom’s entrepreneurial skills have resulted in IAS which is bringing a level of customer service you would expect from a 27 year professional. |
